Carolyn J. Campanella

Ms. Campanella concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial litigation, products liability and employment law, with a special emphasis on all aspects of trial strategy and preparation. She has significant experience in managing complex litigation matters in federal court. In the past few years, she served an integral role among a team of attorneys who defended a spine implant device maker in a theft of trade secrets case tried before a jury in federal district court, and second chaired a trial conducted in the federal district court in Chicago in a breach of contract case concerning exhibition rights at McCormick Place. She also has spent several years assisting in the firm's representation of a major manufacturer in asbestos personal injury litigation.

Prior to working with the McShea Firm, Carolyn Campanella applied her legal and strategic expertise as a business executive consultant. She provided organizational development and strategy, change management, conflict resolution, and executive coaching to Fortune 100 and smaller companies. She has also worked for the Litigation and Employment Departments of Piper & Marbury and McCarter & English.

Ms. Campanella received her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University, earned a master's degree in educational psychology from Rutgers University, and obtained her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center, where she served as an editor of the journal Law and Policy in International Business. She is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland and the District of Columbia.
